TODAY I CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY AND 24 PROUD YEARS OF SERVICE

Today is a very special and emotional day for me. Not only am I celebrating my birthday, but I am also celebrating 24 incredible years of service with the Metropolitan Police.

After all these years, I can honestly say that I still love my job, I am proud of what I do, and I still look forward to coming to work every day.

My strength and motivation come from the wonderful members of the public, the communities I serve, my colleagues, friends and, most importantly, my family. Their support has helped me balance both my home life and my career, while continuing to give my very best to the community.

Even on my birthday, I am at work today and looking forward to holding a CPA community engagement stall at the mosque, meeting and speaking with members of our community. For me, there is no better way to celebrate than being among the people I have dedicated my career to supporting.

24 years on, my passion has not faded. My commitment remains strong, and my heart is still in the job.

Today, I feel truly blessed and grateful for every person who has supported, encouraged and inspired me throughout my journey.

My birthday wish is simple:

To stay healthy and happy, to continue helping and supporting others, and to keep making a positive difference wherever I can. 🙏

Thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey. Serving our communities has been one of the greatest honours of my life.
